Project description
Within this contract, our team elaborated the feasibility study, technical project and detailed design for Predeal (Brasov county, Romania) wastewater treatment plant covering preliminary treatment, biological treatment and sludge treatment up to 25% solids content.
The plant was designed for a dry weather maximum daily flowrate of 3.000 m3/day serving an equivalent population of 20.000 PE.
The plant’s treatment scheme comprised:
- wastewater treatment: preliminary treatment (screening, grit and grease removal, degritted wastewater pumping), biological treatment (rotating biological contactors for biological nitrogen removal, phosphorus biological removal);
- sludge treatment: excess sludge aerobic stabilization using rotating biological contactors, stabilized sludge bed dewatering, and dewatered sludge storage
