Project description

Within this contract, our team elaborated the process project for Philip Morris (Ilfov county, Romania) wastewater treatment plant covering advanced biological treatment and sludge treatment.

The plant’s treatment scheme comprised:

  • wastewater treatment: preliminary treatment (screening, flow and load equalization, screened wastewater pumping), advanced biological treatment with sludge stabilization (pre-denitrification for biological nitrogen removal, enhanced phosphorus biological removal)
  • sludge treatment: stabilized sludge bag dewatering, and dewatered sludge storage
